JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc purchased 21,282 ordinary shares into Treasury at 929.11 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 2,903,493 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 23,548,415.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
