JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc purchased 22,295 ordinary shares into Treasury at 975.53 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 3,345,110 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 23,112,295.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
