JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

BLOCKLISTING

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for a blocklisting of 10,400,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for the shares to be admitted to trading on its main market.

Shares will be issued under the blocklisting in respect of a tap issuance programme for general business purposes.
