JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Fourth Quarterly Interim Dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 2.10p per share for the year ending 31^st July 2013 will be paid on 25^th October 2013, with a record date of 20^th September 2013 (ex-dividend date 18^th September 2013).

The payment of a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 2.10p per share will bring the total dividends declared in respect of the Company's year ended 31^st July 2013 to 4.90p per share.  This compares with the total dividends paid for the year ended 31^st July 2012 of 4.85p per share.

The Board is mindful of the Company's continued growth and also shareholders' wish for a regular and more timely income stream.  Therefore the Board has decided to pay the fourth quarterly interim dividend in lieu of a final dividend, resulting in the dividend being paid earlier in the Company's financial year.
