LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

The Board of JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc (JEMI.LN) announces that effective from 1st August 2016, Jeffrey Roskell will replace Richard Titherington as the second listed Investment Manager. The Company will continue to be managed primarily by Omar Negyal, with Amit Mehta providing additional support to the team as Deputy Investment Manager.

Mr Roskell is the head of the JPMorgan Asset Management's Emerging Markets & Asia Pacific Income Team which was created earlier this year. Mr Roskell's addition to the investment management team of the Company strengthens our commitment and expertise in the emerging markets income universe. Mr Roskell currently manages Asian Income mandates based in Hong Kong and as such we believe his addition to the team, supporting Mr Negyal, is beneficial to the future success of the Company.
