ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 12th March 2014 it issued 800,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 106.375 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 261,054,438 Ordinary shares.
