ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 27 June 2014    it issued 400,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 119.00 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 272,889,438 Ordinary shares.
