JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 08 August 2014 it issued 250,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 120.25 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 279,164,438 Ordinary shares.
