ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 21 October  2014 it issued 750,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 117.375 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 287,514,438 Ordinary shares.
