JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust Plc announces that today it issued 150,000  Ordinary Shares for cash from Treasury at 136.1 pence per share. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 294,339,438 Ordinary Shares, including 49,277 shares held in Treasury.
