JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS

INCOME TRUST PLC

('The Company')

In conformity with the Transparency Directive, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 29 February 2016 the Company's share capital consists of 294,339,438 Ordinary 1 pence shares carrying one vote each.  The Company holds 199,277 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore as at 29 February 2016, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc is 294,140,161.

The above figure (294,140,161) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
