In conformity with the Transparency Directive, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 31^st May 2019 the Company's share capital consists of 297,240,161 Ordinary 1 pence shares carrying one vote each.  The Company holds 49,277 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore as at 31^st May 2019, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc is 297,240,161.

The above figure (297,240,161) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
