CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 190,572 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by eighteen uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 120,210,146 ordinary shares, including 14,724,788 held in Treasury, and 5,803,397 subscription shares.
