CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 1,215 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 119,883,316 ordinary shares, including 5,266,788 held in treasury, and 6,130,227 subscription shares.
