CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 9,031 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by twenty nine uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 120,219,177 ordinary shares, including 15,024,788 held in Treasury, and 5,794,366 subscription shares.
