JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

FINAL CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

Pursuant to the announcement made on 2nd January 2014 regarding the Notice of Suspension and Cancellation of Subscription Shares, JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 2,882,774 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by the trustee appointed to act on behalf of the remaining subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 125,528,337 ordinary shares, including 17,914,788 held in Treasury.

The right to exercise subscription shares in the Company expired at the close of business on 2nd January 2014. The listing of subscription shares was suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. on Friday 3rd January 2014.
