CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES 

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that on Thursday 23rd July 2009 it issued 16,468 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated subscription shareholders.  

The shares in issue following this notification are 107,435,878 ordinary shares, including 1,979,788 held in treasury, and 18,577,665 subscription shares.
