CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES 

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that on Monday 3rd August 2009 it issued 87,875 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated subscription shareholders.  

The shares in issue following this notification are 107,523,753 ordinary shares, including 1,979,788 held in treasury, and 18,489,790 subscription shares.
