CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES 

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc ('the Company') announces that on Friday 12th June 2009 it issued 3,191 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated subscription shareholders.  

The shares in issue following this notification are 106,570,539 ordinary shares, including 1,979,788 held in treasury, and 19,443,004 subscription shares.
