CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 14,306 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by seven uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 119,978,397 ordinary shares, including 14,299,788 held in Treasury, and 6,035,146 subscription shares.
