JPMORGAN FLEMING INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
EGM STATEMENT
The Board is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions put to shareholders
at the Extraordinary General Meeting held today were passed, thereby granting
the Directors authority under section 80 of the Companies Act 1985 to allot up
to 9,021,136 new shares with an aggregate nominal value of £2,255,284
representing approximately 10 per cent. of the total shares in issue as at 24th
February 2005 (such authority to expire on 22nd March 2010), and to allot
securities other than in accordance with the pre-emption provisions of section
89 of the Companies Act 1985.
