Unaudited results - year to 30th September 2001
The Directors have today announced the unaudited final results for the year to
30th September 2001.
The unaudited net asset value (NAV) per share as at 30th September 2001 was
62.8p per share, compared with an NAV of 103.4p as at 30th September 2000.
This represents a decrease in net asset value of 39.3%. This was slightly
behind the performance of the Company's benchmark, the Bombay Stock Exchange
National 100 Index in sterling terms, which fell by 38.8% over the same
period.
As has been the practice in previous years, no dividend has been declared.
