CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 1,494,797 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated subscription shareholders. 

The shares in issue following this notification are 119,634,563 ordinary shares, including 2,799,788 held in treasury, and 6,378,980 subscription shares.
