JPMorgan Fleming Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued
75,000 ordinary shares to a market participant at 144.5 pence per share
representing 0.09% of the ordinary shares in issue.

The number of shares issued under the current authority totals 3,495,000.

The remaining shares in issue following this notification are 87,436,392.
