TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

In conformity with the Transparency Directive we would like to notify the market of the following:

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc's capital consists of 105,465,043 ordinary 25 pence shares with voting rights and 20,548,500 subscription shares of 1 pence without voting rights.  The Company holds 1,979,788 ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc is 103,485,255.

The above figure (103,485,255) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
