VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

('The Company')

In conformity with the Transparency Directive the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 31^st May 2011 the Company's share capital consists of 117,245,459 Ordinary 25 pence shares, carrying one vote each and 8,768,084 Subscription shares of 1 pence each with no voting rights.  The Company holds 1,979,788 Ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore as at 31^st May 2011, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in the Company is 115,265,671.

The above figure (115,265,671) may be used by Ordinary shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
