VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

(the 'Company')

In conformity with the Transparency Directive the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 29th July 2016 the Company's share capital consists of 125,617,586 Ordinary 25 pence shares, carrying one vote each. The Company holds 20,300,971 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore as at 29th July 2016, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in the Company is 105,316,615.

The above figure (105,316,615) may be used by Ordinary shareholders as the denominator for the calculation, by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
