JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

The following amendment has been made to the 'JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc -Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 26/10/2012 at 17.18 under RNS Number 6943P.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 75,000 ordinary shares at 363.63 pence per share, not 25,000 ordinary shares.

All other details remain unchanged.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 75,000 ordinary shares at 363.63 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 7,921,788 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 111,961,528. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
