JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 5,000 ordinary shares into Treasury at 516.94 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 20,265,471 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 105,352,115. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
