REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

On Thursday  28^th March 2013, JPMorgan Japan Smaller Companies Trust plc purchased into Treasury 115,000 ordinary shares at 180.00 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 39,491,138 including 409,500 shares held in treasury.
