JPMorgan Fleming Mid Cap Investment Trust plc
Appointment of Director
The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Mid Cap Investment Trust plc is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr Gordon McQueen as a non-executive Director of the
Company with effect from 1 December 2004.
Mr McQueen, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland,
trained as an equity fund manager before embarking on a career in banking. He
is a former Finance Director of Bank of Scotland and joined the Boards of HBOS
plc and Halifax plc as an executive Director following the merger in 2001. He
served on these Board until the end of 2003. He is a non-executive Director of
Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust plc, The Alliance Trust plc and The Second
Alliance Trust plc.
In accordance with paragraph 16.4 of the FSA Listing Rules a further disclosure
will be made within 14 days.
