Further to the announcement made on 28 November, the Company announces that The
Registrar of Companies has issued the Certificate of Incorporation on change of
name and therefore the name of the Company has been changed to JPMorgan Fleming
Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc with effect from 28 November 2002.
