JPMORGAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that it has issued 1,356 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by six uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

Application has been made for the Ordinary shares to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that dealings in the new Ordinary shares will commence at 8.00a.m. on 7^th May 2015.

Subject to the listing application, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 17,389,456 Ordinary shares and 3,564,649 Subscription shares.
