JPMORGAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that it has issued 1,329 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by one uncertificated Subscription shareholder.

Application has been made for the Ordinary shares to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that dealings in the new Ordinary shares will commence at 8.00a.m. on 8th January 2016.

Subject to the listing application, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 17,174,750 Ordinary shares and 3,557,451 Subscription shares.
