CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that it has issued 210 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 17,174,960 Ordinary shares and 3,557,241 Subscription shares.
