JPMORGAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc has today purchased 38,219 ordinary shares for cancellation at 710.87 pence per share. Following the transaction the number of ordinary shares in issue is 18,111,883. 

The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury. Any shares held in Treasury would only be re-issued at a premium to net asset value.
