JPMORGAN FLEMING US DISCOVERY INVESTMENT TRUST PLC


Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held yesterday,
14th May 2003, the Board is pleased to announce that all the resolutions put to
shareholders were passed, including a Special Resolution allowing the Company to
make market purchases of up to 1,673,555 ordinary shares, representing 14.99% of
the Company's issued share capital.
