New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Fleming US Discovery Investment Trust plc are pleased to
announce the appointment of Mrs Davina Walter as a non-executive Director with
immediate effect.

Mrs Walter has had extensive experience of managing US equity portfolios, most
recently as a Managing Director with Deutsche Asset Management. She is currently
working for Directorship UK Limited, and is also Governor of Goodenough College
and Chairman of its Investment Sub-Committee.

Notification of details requiring disclosure under paragraph 16.4 of the FSA
listing Rules will be made in due course.
