New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Fleming US Discovery Investment Trust plc are pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr C. J. Galleymore as a non-executive Director with
immediate effect.

Christopher Galleymore is a Board level investment professional with a
successful international career in a variety of blue-chip companies, including
as Director and Head of North American Desk at Henderson Global Investors
between 1991-2002.

There are no other details requiring disclosure under paragraph 16.4 of the FSA
Listing Rules.
