Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 24th April 2008, the
Board of JPMorgan US Discovery Investment Trust plc announce that Mr Robin Lewis
has stepped down as Chairman and non-executive Director of the Board with
immediate effect.  The Board sincerely thanks Mr Lewis for his valuable
contributions during his time on the Board.
