New Director



The Board of JPMorgan Fleming US Discovery Investment Trust plc are pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr M. Ansell as a non-executive Director with
immediate effect.



Mark Ansell is a Managing Director with wide experience of negotiating and
completing successful acquisitions and disposals, and in improving performance
in niche engineering businesses, several with locations in the United States. He
is currently the Chief Executive of the Flow Group Limited, a specialist flow
control group supplying the oil and gas, industrial gas, mining and marine
industries.



Notification of other details requiring disclosure under paragraph 16.4 of the
FSA Listing Rules will be made in due course.
