JPMORGAN US SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 31,634 new Ordinary shares for cash at 1,580.57 pence per share, to satisfy market demand.

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 5,371,780 Ordinary shares.

Application has been made for the new Ordinary shares to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that dealings in the new Ordinary shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 09^th December 2013
