ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 1,100,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 164.12 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,657,800 Ordinary shares.
