JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 100,000 new Ordinary Shares for cash from Treasury at 289.30 pence per share. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,970,928 Ordinary Shares, including 534,000 shares held in Treasury.
