DIVIDEND DECLARATION

This announcement is made in replacement of 5001C released at 16:03 on 17th March 2014.

The Board of JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that, subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 29th April 2014, a dividend of 0.7 pence per share, instead of the previously announced figure of 7.0 pence per share, will be paid on 6th May 2014 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 11th April 2014 (ex dividend date is 9th April 2014). This amendment is due to the sub-division on 6th March 2014 of each of the existing Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company into ten Ordinary Shares of 2.5 pence each.
