Supplementary Prospectus

JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc (the 'Company') today published a supplementary prospectus which is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the prospectus published on 11th March 2014 (the 'Prospectus') in connection with the placing of up to 50,000,000 shares.

The supplementary prospectus is required following publication of the Company's annual report and accounts for the financial year ended 31st December 2013, which constitutes a significant new factor relating to information included in the Prospectus.

A copy of the supplementary prospectus will shortly be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM
