Cancellation OF OWN SECURITIES

JPMorgan US Discovery Investment Trust plc announces that on 4th September 2008 it cancelled 85,000 shares previously bought in at an average price of 831.55 pence per share and held in Treasury.

Following this cancellation, the Company now holds a total of 160,000 shares in Treasury.

The total number of shares in issue is now 6,365,367 of which the number of shares held in Treasury represents 2.5%.
