Cancellation OF OWN SECURITIES

JPMorgan US Discovery Investment Trust plc announces that on 10th September 2009 it cancelled 54,000 shares previously bought in at an average price of 504.02 pence per share and held in Treasury.

Following this cancellation, the Company now holds a total of 253,057 shares in Treasury.

The total number of shares in issue is now 5,881,367 of which the shares held in Treasury represent 4.3 %.
