Cancellation OF OWN SECURITIES

JPMorgan US Discovery Investment Trust plc announces that on 16th December 2009 it cancelled the remaining 307,457 shares previously held in Treasury.

Following this cancellation, the Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.

The total number of shares in issue is now 5,573,910.
