JETCAM develops and markets software systems for computer programming
of  punching  and  cutting machines used in sheet metal  fabrication.
JETCAM, which listed on the Alternative Investment Market ('AIM')  in
May  1999,  announces that it has now completed  the  acquisition  of
Camtek Limited ('Camtek') for £4 million, subject to admission of the
new  ordinary  shares  to AIM.  Camtek, a UK  company,  develops  and
markets   CAM   software  systems  for  computer  numerical   control
programming  of machines in the sheet metal fabrication  and  milling
and turning industries.

At the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, the
resolution to effect the acquisition of Camtek Limited was duly
passed.

Under  the  open  offer  of  3.2 million  new  ordinary  shares,  the
Directors of JETCAM irrevocably undertook not to subscribe for  their
entitlements.  These shares were placed firm by Townsley  &  Co  with
institutional  and  other investors.  Of the balance  of  80,260  new
ordinary shares, which remained available for subscription under  the
open  offer,  57,212 new ordinary shares were taken up by  qualifying
shareholders, representing 71.3% of the ordinary shares available for
subscription  under the open offer and 1.74% of the total  number  of
open offer shares.

Commenting on the acquisition of Camtek, Ivan Stern, Chief  Executive
of JETCAM, said:

'I  am delighted that we are now able to complete the acquisition  of
Camtek  and  progress  the integration of the  two  businesses.   The
opportunities for the combined group are very exciting and  can  only
continue to grow as both companies continue to launch innovative, new
products  designed  to address the as yet unsatisfied  needs  of  our
